About our home

Our home was built in 2000 and is a modern home complete with all mod-cons. Our home is built on a large, plot with lots of plants, shrubs and trees, even a polytunnel! We are only 1.5km from the town centre and have wonderful neighbours. If you feel like doing any exercise we have a modern treadmill and rowing machine and of course plenty of hills to climb!

Bit of culture
Lismore is a historic town with a beautiful castle that sits on the river Blackwater. It is equidisant between Waterford and Cork City. The town sits at the foot of the Knockmealdown Mountains which can be reached in 15mins (by car). If you fancy a water sports you can take canoes on the river or head to the local beaches all 25 mins drive, there you can surf, swim or just walk.

Visit the lovely Cork city & Waterford city home of the famous crystal. Visit The Rock of Cashel or the beautiful monastery at Mellery. There are lots of lovely places to visit all within 30-60mins drive away. But if the sun shines just walk into Lismore, take a picnic by the river and just watch the world go by!
