Our home is large and comfortable. Our kitchen/dining room is a big, bright room with beautiful views and is a lovely place to eat and relax. The dining area is surrounded by windows that let in the sunshine all day long.
Off the kitchen/dining room there is a large living room with a fireplace (solid fuel stove) and TV. This room is also very bright with lots of windows and it has beautiful views of Lough Derg. The master bedroom is very large and bright and also has an en-suite bathroom including shower.
There is a small double bed (4ft) in the second bedroom and a single bed plus cot in the third bedroom. The fourth bedroom is currently used as an office/spare room and has a single bed in there also. We have a full size cot and travel cot if required. There is a bath and separate electric shower in the main bathroom.

We are a family of 4. We have two daughters aged 9 and 2.
Both myself (Noreen) and my husband (Jody) work in IT technical support.
We are very easy going.
We live in the hills overlooking Lough Derg and while we enjoy a wonderful rural location we are still only 2 miles (5 minutes by car) from the town of Ballina, Co. Tipperary which is across from the historic town of Killaloe, Co. Clare. The towns are linked by a bridge over the river Shannon with Lough Derg close by. The whole area is very scenic and there are many beautiful walks to take and also plenty of outdoor activities to pursue.
There are many lovely restaurants, pubs, shops and sites to visit! The town's location is very convenient for touring the mid-west and beyond! Cork, Killarney, the Cliffs of Moher, Galway, The Burren and Dublin are all about 2 hours away or less. Shannon airport is only a 45 minute drive.
