About our home

Our home is light-filled and warm with panoramic views of the river Shanon and Lough Derg. You can watch the sailboats and cruisers pass up and down the lake from the large and safely enclosed deck. There are 3 large double bedrooms with flat-screen TV, 2 en-suite and the third is beside the large family bathroom. The remaining bedroom is a children's room (Adam's Room) with a single (can be a twin in minutes.) The kitchen/Diningroom has views on the lake and the living room has a double-height cathedral ceiling again looking across over the lake to the neighbouring villages. We are minutes from the Lakeside Hotel & Leisure Centre and there are playgrounds, river walks and an outdoor heated swimming pool in the village. Cafe's, restaurants and shops are just a short stroll.

More about us

  1. My husband Alex and I (Paula) run a business consultancy firm and we have a 10 year old boy called Adam.

  2. For families with small children, there is a multitude of toys, games and puzzles, for bigger kids, there is PlayStation, Nintendo, Hover Board and bikes and for the whole family there is badminton & table tennis, card & board games. In the village (10 mins walk) there is a playground, heated outdoor swimming pool (with lifeguard) and endless walks, cafe's and eateries. We also have a cat called Cookie who sleeps her own kennel on the deck - but can be otherwise accommodated if preferred. We also have a dog called Sam (Border Collie).

  3. We love to travel and to enjoy the ocean and nature. We really enjoy good food in restaurants with warm ambiance
