More about us

  1. We are a couple in our mid fifties with four grown up children, all still living at home most of the time. Three of them are working and the youngest is still at university. We are both working full time, Michael as a carpenter in a private hospital and Mary as a primary school principal so this is our second home. Michael put his skills to good use and his workmanship is evident in the hand crafted kitchen and wardrobes. We bought this house in Ballinskelligs three years ago as we were captivated by the area and we really look forward to going down there as often as we can. We live in Cork City which is a two and a half hour drive away. We are fortunate to have lots of friends who either reside in, or have second homes in the area. So no shortage of support if you ever need it. Ballinskelligs is a special place that you will absolutely love. We find it a complete get away and every time we visit we are sad to leave, but completely refreshed!
