About our home

Recently renovated, semi-detached house, 1022sq feet, bright inside. Upstairs is carpeted with three bedrooms, bathroom and hot press. Two bedrooms are available to exchangers: 1 king/twin bedroom plus one double bedroom, both generously sized. The bathroom has combined bath/shower for either a power shower or a bath.

Downstairs has solid oak floor with hall, WC/WHB under the stairs and laundry closet opposite. The kitchen is open plan to the dining room, with French doors leading to the south-facing garden. Back garden is mostly in grass, with a new patio in the sunniest corner . It's a work in progress and gradually is getting more planting.

Dining room has a digital piano. Double doors lead to living room, which has a stove fire and a TV and lazy-boy style reclining sofa.

Street is a cul-de-sac, quiet, very safe and family-friendly, with little passing traffic and a green area. Large parks are only 5 mins walk away.

More about us

  1. I'm in my 30s, working as landscape architect for local government, South Dublin. An outdoor/nature lover, play music, tennis, love skiing, yoga, travel, India, vegetarian, speak 5 languages.

I usually travel with one or two friends or family members. We're all clean-living, very responsible adults and will take great care of your home and property. See my photo at end of photos of house.

I did my first exchange with family from Montpellier, South France in August 2015 and it was a lovely experience for both parties. Looking forward to more happy exchanges.

Neighbourhood

This area is great for exploring the city, the coastal towns and Wicklow. We're on the outer fringe of Dublin where it meets the countryside. 4 mins from motorway to access all of Ireland. Last years French exchangers even went to Galway for a weekend, to Kilkenny and up to Belfast.

Dublin's got a lot of interesting history. It's also close to beaches, lovely towns and nature in the Dublin hills and Wicklow 'the Garden of Ireland' with hills lakes and valleys.
