About our home

Large 1930's farm house with high ceilings, open fire, wood burning stove and AGA stove for cooking. House lovely and warm since renovation but maintains old Irish style. Modern extension at the back with a gym area and lounge.
We are a working farm. Involvement with a little flock of sheep is optional, the cows are looked after by a farm manager.

We are a couple with a small child. We farm part time and have a company which is expanding into the UK. We are only looking at house swaps in London.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Ballintubber is a small rural village close to Westport and Castlebar. 25 minutes drive to Croagh Patrick, quiet beaches and villages. We are 1 mile from Ballintubber abbey, the oldest Abbbey in Europe. The area is known for walking with the tochair Padraig pilgrimage walk and miles of tiny roads with little or no traffic.
