About our home

It a large split level bungalow and large garage on an acre of mature gardens with loads of parking space. It has two lawns one big, one very big. With a chicken run, trampoline, goal posts, footballs,hurley's, bicycles , go karts and loads of children toys.

  1. We are a couple with four children ranging in ages from 15 down to 4.

  2. Damien 37, Simone 34, Hannah 15, Billy 10, Eddie 6 and Nessa 4

  3. We love the outdoors and especially cycling and swimming.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Our house is a story and a half bungalow set on its own private acre of mature gardens in the countryside . About 7 mins drive from Cork City. Blarney village is a 5 min drive which boasts the beautiful Blarney castle and the world face Blarney Stone. We are 2 min drive from Whitechurch village which has a fabulous shop, church and traditional Irish pub. The Guinness is great here. We are surrounded by green fields and milking cows. My wives parents live close by and are always around for answering questions or helping. Our house is a very quiet and private house with no noise only the birds and the odd cow. We have a chicken coop and a few pretty birds. A dog called Arthur who can move next door if needs be .

Cork City is a 7 minute drive which boasts lots of restaurants of all kinds
Cool bars
Again cork city is the place to go. Or relax on our patio with a Gin and Tonic and listen to the silence.
Bit of culture
Blarney Castle is a 5 min drive and the world famous Blarney Stone . Kiss it once and you will never be short of conversation
Walks in the park
Again Blarney village has 3 beautiful and safe walk for both walking and cycling
Day tripping
Fota Wildlife park. Killarney national park. Kinsale. Cork City. Blarney. Mizen Head. Cliffs Of Moher.Ballyhoura Mountain Biking Trails.
