About our home

Our home is a large detached bungalow in a quite fishing village. We have 4 bedrooms with extra sofa beds if needed. There is a large kitchen/dining room at one end in which there is plenty of room for entertaining and a large sitting room at the other. There are 2 double bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms upstairs and 2 double bedrooms and a separate bathroom downstairs. It is an extremely quiet area with very helpful neighbours if needed for advice on anything. My step mam lives’ next-door and will be on hand to let you in and help with any information you might need.

My name is Rebecca I live with my two sons Colin 22, Eoin 20 & my daughter Lisa 17. We have not done a home exchange before but are keen to try what sounds a great way to see another country as a resident - and allow someone to see yours.

Situated in a picturesque Fishing Village Ballyhack is a short trip on the Passage East Ferry to the City of Waterford City.

Local attraction include The Hook Lighthouse which is one of the oldest operational Lighthouse in the world www.hooktourism.com (In the last few years there has been a lot of sightings of humpback whales)

The Kennedy Homestead, birthplace of President John F. Kennedy’s great-grandfather Patrick Kennedy.
