About our home

Our home is located in a quite estate in Ballinacurra which is 2km from Midleton which is a thriving market town. We are within 15 minutes of several beaches and many tourist attractions.
Spike Island was voted Europe leading tourist attration 2017 by World travel Awards and also Midleton Distillary is 5 minutes drive from our home where the famous Midleton Rare Whiskey is brewed.
Fota wildlife park, Trabolgan holiday Village, leahys farm, Cobh heritage centre... All these are within a 10-20 minute drive of our property.
Also if golfing is your thing we have many international standard courses including the Old Head of Kinsale and Ballybunion which featured in the world top 10 list is only a 2 hour drive from our home.
Also Dublin with the Book of Kells as well as the Guinness Distillary is only a 3 hour drive.

More about us

We are a warm and happy family of five. 2 adults and 3 young children.
Bríd is a primary school teacher and Sean is an electrician.
Our home is comfortable, spacious, cosy and ideal for adults and children alike. It has a trampoline, swing set and basketball hoop in the back garden and a well equipped playroom for kids.
If you have an interest in music, sports, or other outdoor pursuits, we have a piano, bikes, hiking equipment or a surfboard which you may use among other things.
We enjoy all family activities, music, sports, culture, social and culinary activities. We will help tailor make the ideal holiday with help from contacts, for any potential house swap partner.
