Very spacious extended semi detached house in Leopardstown, Dublin 18. This is a mature and quiet residential area which offers the perfect balance of city and country life. The large open planned sitting, dining & kitchen area overlooks our garden, whilst a further downstairs sitting room provides alternative space with a desk and additional TV. There are 4 bedrooms - one very large main room with walk in wardrobe and ensuite shower room, 1 king size, 1 child's room with cabin bed and 1 child's room with twin beds. An additional pull out bed is also available.
We are in an ideal location for exploring both Dublin city centre and local area. Stepaside village (with pub, restaurants and local shops) is a 15 min walk away, many other restaurants and shopping centres are within easy reach by tram or car. The LUAS tram into Dublin is a 5 minute walk from our home, then just 20 mins into the bustling city centre . You can also be in the countryside within 5 mins drive, the coast within 15 minutes drive, and we are ideally located for access to many wonderful walking and cycle routes of Dublin and Wicklow . There really is so much variety to occupy you within the beautiful surrounding area, including Enniskerry, Powerscourt, Dalkey, Killiney, Dun Laoghaire and the many parks and attractions.

Her house was conveniently located near transportation into the city. The location also enabled us to conveniently tour some of the areas south of Dublin. “We had the most wonderful stay at Emily’s lovely home . Couldn’t have asked for better location, house was just lovely and so comfortable with everything we needed and a fabulous back garden which we enjoyed having our evening meals . Kids had a great time at the playground which was only 2 minutes away as well as the tennis courts. The Luas at the top of road too which was amazing as was so easy to get to either Dundrum shopping centre or the city. We had an amazing few days so thanks Emily and family . Great correspondence and left our house spotless which was so appreciated. More great memories made . ”
“Emily's place was lovely! It is a gorgeous and spacious home that has such cool decor and layout, an incredible backyard area that offers a peaceful place to sit amongst the most beautiful garden, and a welcoming pets. For our kids, that was the highlight, but for us, it was the access to the Luas which is only a 5 min walk and boom, you are in DUBLIN CITY. Emily was a wonderful communicator: very easygoing and nice to speak with. We highly recommend :)”
“This was a great home exchange experience. Emily and Dave are amazing hosts. They left us some much appreciated, very tasty Irish treats! We enjoyed some of the local places they recommended. Communication was excellent start to finish. The house was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. Their garden is lovely, a great place to relax after a full day of sightseeing. The location outside the city center was perfect for us, with easy access to Wicklow National Park, Glendalough, as well as beaches at Greystones and Bray. Leopardstown is less noisy & crowded than central Dublin too. Everything you could possibly need is within walking distance, including the Luas light rail - that takes you straight to the city center. The neighborhood is quiet and everyone we talked to was friendly and helpful. We could not have asked for a better exchange! Thank you Emily, Dave & family for a memorable, awesome stay!
