About our home

With amazing views of Carlingford Lough and the Cooley and Mourne Mountains this house is situated 15 feet from Carlingford Lough and a short walk left along the stunning GreenWay to OMeath and right to the stunning medieval village of Carlingford . . Our comfortable home has 4 bedrooms and is v. family friendly and has provided us with wonderful family memories. ( we are a family of 6 children 17-5 yrs) with many activities available such as hiking in the lush green mountains that surround the property or a short walk into the medieval village of Carlingford itself.

The house is situated equidistant between Belfast in the North and Dublin (only 1 hour approximately by motorway to each).

There is an acre of garden around the house and it’s fully equipped with garden furniture and barbecue etc.
Our family bikes are available to use.

  2. Peter works in law and Sinéad is a primary teacher and busy with the children’s busy schedules .

  3. We love family holidays with good food and a mix of relaxing by a pool or beach and some siteseeing.

Where is it?

Carlingford lough has numerous amenities on its doorstep. The wonderful adventure Centre caters for the entire family’s interests .....canoeing, raft building, skypark to name a few.
A day can equally be spent browsing little craft shops and clothes shops .
Carlingford attracts numerous walkers for the wonderful hiking trails in the surroundings mountains.

The village is 10 minutes from the motorway to Dublin or north to Belfast. Within an hour you can be browsing along the river Liffey in Dublin or visiting the various sites of Belfast.
