We have a comfortable spacious family home with a large garden in a beautiful rural location. The garden/patio area is perfect for children with swings and slides and plenty of space for football. We have 2 large double bedrooms, one has double sofa bed and is used as an office/ playroom, both are en suite. We have 2 childrens bedrooms both with double beds, main bathroom, spacious bright living room and fully equipped kitchen/dining room with double doors opening out onto the patio.

The planning was straight forward too with clear agreed plans. All of this meant that our 4 day holiday to the West of Ireland, a stunning part of the world was such good fun for the whole family. Although our children didn't really want to leave the house because of the great play area and the garden with it's little paths and secret places to discover ;-) And we miss Toby the cat and next door neighbours dog both really soft and friendly!”
We are Kevin and Hilary, a married couple(professionals) with 2 boys aged 11 & 14.. We've had 4 house exchanges to date and have thoroughly enjoyed all of them. We love the outdoors, swimming, sea kayaking, hill walking and cycling. We also have a Siamese cat who'd love to share the house with you or can go on her holidays during the exchange if not suitable.
We are in a friendly neighbourhood only 5 miles from the city of Galway, 1 mile from the village of Barna, with shops and superb restaurants and 1 mile from the beach. We are on the doorstep to Connemara with its mountains, national park, beaches and lots of activities/tourist attractions. Galway has lots to offer every member of the family from great restaurants, shopping, history, beautiful scenery, beaches, swimming pools, and lots of activities.
