About our home

Our house is modern, comfortable and spacious (approx 2600 sq feet) with five bedrooms and another that can be easily converted. There are three bedrooms upstairs with two including an en-suite bedroom downstairs. There are three bathrooms in total with power-showers. We have a large open-plan kitchen/living area where we love to cook and entertain. We also and two separate relaxation/TV areas with lots of books, dvds etc.
Our house is on a large 3/4 acre site with a large decking area and barbeque. In the garden there are lots of mature trees, shrubs, fruit and vegetables. The whole place is really child friendly with lots of toys, bikes, trampolines etc.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

We live in a village called Barna just out along the coast towards Conamara and a fifteen minute car journey to the centre of historic Galway. We are right on the coast with lots of beaches nearby and lots of interesting walks.

From our house you can walk down to the shoreline (rocky)or take a short drive to a number of local beaches. Barna village has 4 really nice restaurants, Donnelly's pub (legendary in these parts!) and the Twelve Hotel also well known. Galway City is easily accessed either by car or bus and has lots of great pubs,arts venues and restaurants also.

Galway needs no introduction. In Summer it's a buzz of activity with The Galway Races, the world renowned Galway Arts festival.
