About our home

Léim Siar house is an eco friendly family run bed and breakfast situated in the beautiful fishing village of An Fód Dubh (Blacksod). A haven in the Gaeltacht for birdwatchers, golfers (Carne golf links 15 mins drive away) surfers, artists, writers and anglers. Within walking distance to pier, lighthouse, pub and beaches. We will swap our large two bed apartment but can give more rooms (if necessary). Check out our website to see pics of inside the house etc.

  1. We are a couple in our late 40's with two daughters one 18 and one 25 (they will travel with us). I run the bed and breakfast and Gerry works locally. We can tell you lots more by emailing !

An Fód Dubh is a beautiful fishing village right out on the Mullet penisula. We are within walking distance of Blacksod pier and lighthouse, Teach Una's pub,and lots of wonderful beaches. We are two miles from local shop, church, heritage centre, garage and Teach JohnJoe's pub. Léim Siar is 15 mins drive from Carne Golf Links and about 20 mins drive from Belmullet town.
