About our home

Please note, a minimum 4 night swap.
This historical, yet fully modernized Victorian house is based in one of South Dublin's most desired addresses and understandably so due to the amazing location just beside the buzzing Blackrock village, stunning seafront setting, and proximity to the train and bus ( both less than 60 seconds from the door) which will have you into Dublin city center in 15 minutes.
This property has been our main family home for over 40 years but now with all the children grown up and our mum now sadly passed, my dad is there on his own and keen to get out and see the world. The house is approached from the seafront via and over 3,000 sq ft of accommodation is spread over three floors, all characterised by period Victorian features, large open rooms with high ceilings, marble fireplaces and large sash windows with extensive sea views across Dublin Bay’s, where you can happliy spend hours watching the aquatic traffic from the ferries in and out of the ports to the sailboats that seem to literally sit on the horizon.
There are three large double bedrooms, the master of which is super sized, a kitchen/diner, a sitting room and dining room, a WC down stairs and a family bathroom on the return. The house is full of character and style and is the perfect base for anyone visiting Dublin. It's just 8 minutes form Dun Laoghaire harbour with all it's marinas, piers and amenities and there are countless good restaurant's. bars and coffer shops in Blackrock and the next village, Monkstown to enjoy form Michellen stared bistros to pizza houses.
Please not a E75 fee per stay for cleaning and linen.
