About our home

A magnificent 350 square metre (built) apartment with 100 square metre balcony with parking. High ceilings, panoramic views and very large rooms. Located in Blackrock it is a short bus ride from Dublin City Centre. The penthouse is located within a short walk of shops, bars and restaurants. It is served by a direct bus to Dublin airport and City buses are every four minutes at peak times. This penthouse apartment in an embassy residence neighbourhood was refurbished to the highest standard at the end of 2013. It has all mod-cons and features possibly the best views of Dublin City, Howth Head, Dublin Port, Dun Laoghaire Harbour and the hills at Killiney. It is a fifteen minute ride into St Stephens Green. This is an ideal place from which to explore Dublin or the entire country.

Neighbourhood

Buzzy restaurants
We love RIBA on the Lower Kilmacud Road and Ananda in the Dundrum Shopping Centre. There are just so many styles and types to chose from.
Cool bars
Union Cafe has to be experienced. Make sure you go into the original bar for a pint of Guinness by the fire after you've eaten. Maybe walk around to Gleesons on Booterstown Avenue for a late night libation.
Cozy cafés
Nothing nicer than the Orangerie at the Radisson Blu Hotel a very short walk away.
Retail therapy
Dundrum Shopping Centre (for fashion and food) ten minutes in a taxi. For less stress walk to Stillorgan Shopping Centre (5 minutes stroll) or Blackrock village (10 minutes walk).
Bit of culture
Why not visit the Maritime Museum in Dun Laoghaire and stop for afternoon tea in the beautiful and historic Royal Marine Hotel.
Walks in the park
We walk in Blackrock Park because it has a ducks and swans in the pond and it's beside the sea.
Spot of exercise
Walk, run, cycle. It's all outside the door. There is a cycle track all the way into the City Centre.
Day tripping
If you do one thing, make it the Viking Splash Tour - vikingsplash.com
