This is a family home, located in quiet neighbourhood, 4 bedrooms, living room and large modern kitchen extension. Small garden to front and back, with large parks nearby. We have 2 active boys (7 & 9). Located in Blackrock we’re within walking distance of the sea and the village. Excellent public transport connections. Though we have a car we walk/cycle everywhere.
I'm Irish and my husband is Greek. We met in Germany, where we were both working, and moved to Ireland together 12 years ago. We have 2 boys, Lucas (9) and Alex (7).
We both work in Dublin - I work in marketing and my husband works in research for renewable energy. We enjoy travelling and both travel quite a bit for work. We love spending time together as a family. We visit Greece pretty regularly, twice per year, visiting family in Athens.
We enjoy spending time with friends and family. We've a great network of friends living locally. We also enjoying visiting family in Ireland. The boys have lots of activities at the weekends. We also enjoy travelling together - our last holiday was a week in New York during the school break .
Blackrock is a small village, on the coast of south County Dublin. Our house is approx. 8kms from Dublin city centre. The village is well connected to the south - Greystones, and through the city centre to Malahide in North County Dublin - on the main Dart rail line. We are within walking distance of the village which has an abundance of shops, restaurants, cafes and pubs. You can also walk to the coast - Monkstown has lots of restaurants, and Dun Laoghaire is also very close. http://blackrock.ie/
