Great family home in east cork

“Our firat home swap was a very positive experience thanks to Aine and her family. Her home is beautiful, very confortable and very well equipped for our young family. We had agreed in advance that we would feed eachothers pets and this was the highlight of our trip! Our kids absolutely loved feeding Jasmine the goat her bottle and cartots to the miniature horse! The location is great - close to lots of main attractions but tucked away in the countryside with a large garden and lota for the kids to do. Our own home was left exactly as we left it and our dog was well looked after when we were away. Thanks Aine! ”

“Fantastic trip , great location for a fantastic family trip . Foto islands and Leahy’s farm so close and a full day of fun , also close to city and loads of local beaches. House was amazing , fully equipped and clean, loads of space inside and out. Loads of toys for kids , which they loved . They enjoyed feeding the cat and horse. Also had great fun collecting eggs. Áine was great with communicating , very informative. I’d highly recommend anyone to stay. ”

“Our family had a wonderful exchange at Áine's home. The location was fantastic for us to explore and enjoy Cork, the surrounding cities and towns, and all the family-friendly offerings in the area thanks to Áine's recommendations. We also had a great day driving to Killarney National Park and the Ring of Kerry before returning to their picturesque home. With all the sites to be seen in Ireland, the best sunset pictures I have are from their back yard as the sun going down over their hills is not to be missed. Áine's home couldn't have been a better arrangement for our family as the kids loved the toys that were available during our stay, waking up each morning to fresh eggs from their hens, and greeting Treasure, their miniature horse every morning and evening. The swing sets and play sets were perfect for getting out that last bit of energy before bedtime or occupying the kids while we prepared breakfast or packed our car. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable for everyone. Everything in Áine's home was clean and well maintained for a family home and a family vacation. We enjoyed warming up in the mornings in their sunroom and winding down after the kids were asleep in their living room as well. Áine was great with communication before and during our trip, we would 100% come back to stay here again in future trips to Ireland, and we would welcome her and her family to Chicago any time they'd like to visit!”

The house was fantastic for kids and their little horse Treasure was a delight to feed apples from the apple tree.
