About our home

This delightful cottage is just one mile from the village of Narin, County Donegal and sits in a quiet location next to a working livestock farm. Less than one mile to the Donegal coastline, this homely cottage is situated in peaceful and secluded scenery amidst idyllic Donegal countryside, making it a perfect bolt hole for those looking to spend a holiday by the sea. This traditional cottage near Narin has been thoughtfully furnished to provide a relaxing atmosphere; it still retains much of its original character which dates back over 300 years with the low ceilings and bog oak features. With one bedroom and a shower room on the ground floor, this Narin cottage provides comfortable sleeping accommodation, allowing older and less-able guests to enjoy a holiday by Donegal's splendid coast. The multi-fuel stove is sure to provide a welcoming glow for any weary wanderer in need of solace after a busy day exploring this beautiful region of Ireland. Let the children stretch their legs in the lawned garden; and in the summer months why not fire up a barbecue and celebrate the peace of the beautiful surroundings. The village of Narin is within walking distance of your cottage, and has access to two pubs and a shop; take a morning stroll along the beautiful beach and enjoy the fresh, brackish air as it floats across the sand to meet you. The sights of Gweebara Bay will take your breath away, and stay in the memory for years to come. Venture out towards the magical Inishkeel Island which can be viewed from the Strand, and then accessed by foot during low tide. The town of Andara is within driving distance of your Narin cottage and will provide a great evening's entertainment with its selection of bars and traditional pubs playing lively Celtic music to inspire the soul, whilst golfing and watersports are also available nearby. This unique Narin cottage is sure to delight and comfort those looking to explore Ireland's beautiful North-West region
