About our home

Our stunning home is a 5 bedroom period home located in a country setting on 1.5 acres close to Tramore Beach the main beach resort in the South East of Ireland (5 mins drive) and Waterford City (12 mins drive). We are 5 minutes drive to the Mount Congreve Entrance to the Waterford Greenway Ireland's longest cycle track which runs between Waterford City and Dungarvan along an old railway track. Waterford City has a host of interesting places to keep tourists busy, the Viking Triangle showcases 3 excellent museums including Reginalds Tower, Christchurch Cathedral and the world famous Waterford Crystal (tour and cafe highly recommended). A new Viking Virtual Reality experience is a must (King of the Vikings VR). Waterford City has a bustling town centre with excellent restaurants, shops and cafes. The lovely Theatre Royal has an excellent program as does our second theatre Garter Lane. Mount Congreve House and Gardens which are world famous are a short 5 minute drive away. The Copper Coast UNESCO Geopark is a stretch of fabulous coastline stretching from Kilfassasy to Stradbally featuring many lovely beaches. The Commeragh Mountains are very popular for mountain climbers and hikers and the Mahon Falls walk to suitable for children and families. Dungarvan is a thriving and picturesque County Town with a great food scene and is 45 minutes away. Ardmore with its historic Round Tower and the amazing Cliff House Hotel is an hour away on the road to Cork which is a 90 minute drive. Waterford is a 2 hour drive from Dublin airport along excellent motorway.
Our family home has 5 bedrooms 4 of which are ensuite. There are 4 double rooms and a child's room with a bunk bed. There are 2 living rooms both with TV + Netflix one with a lovely wood burner fire. There is underfloor heating and radiators throughout the house. The kitchen/dining room is stunning and the views over the garden and cottage are breathtaking. The dining table seats 10 and the kitchen is fully equipped for all you may need including a fab gaggia coffee machine. There is a large utility room with washing machine and dryer and a downstairs bathroom and a lovely conservatory.
