About our home

Our home is comfortable, very clean and spacious. It is situated on a private site of .75 acres of garden and mature shrubs. There is plenty of space for children to enjoy themselves outside. It has a large kitchen with adjoining sitting room and dining area. The dining area leads out to a patio area with outside dining and barbeque area. There is a sitting room upstairs with magnificent mountain views. Both sitting rooms have open fire places which are great for those cool evenings and in the winter. We have four bedrooms of which two are ensuite. The main bedroom is large and spacious with a bouble bed, two singles and a cot. The other bedrooms are made up as follows one with a double bed and a single bed, one with three single beds and one with two single beds. Our home is a second home and the swap can be non simultaneous.

More about us

  1. We are a family of six. Catherine and Damien, a married couple with four children ranging in age from 21 to 8 years. Catherine is a home maker and I am a Human Resource professional. This is our second home and we make great use of it due to its wonderful location. All the children enjoy water based sports and the boys enjoy hillwalking in the many mountains on the peninsula. We can provide kayaks, surf board, lifejackets, wetsuits of various sizes and body boards. We are very precise and would respect your home.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

The cottage is located on a large landscaped site. The cottage is prominently located on the Tralee to Castlegregory road 1 km from Camp village, 8 km from Castlegregory, 16km from Tralee and 32 km from Dingle. Located at the base of the Slieve Mish mountains the property has excellent views of the Mountains and Tralee bay. A number of safe sandy beaches are in close proximity to the cottage, pubs, restaurants, water sports, horse riding are all within striking distance. The cottage is an ideal home base (2200 sqft) from where you can make the most of your holiday on the Dingle peninsula. No matter what your interest windsurfing/ surfing, kite surfing, sea kayaking, diving, mountain climbing/hill walking, fishing this cottage is ideally located and has all the necessary amenities to ensure you have a pleasant holiday.
