Our home is a fine example of a 200 year old Georgian Terraced House.
Our large spacious high ceilinged comfortable living room with bay window overlooking the sea, leads into a large Library/Study thru sliding double doors.
John is a retired Veterinarian and Joan is a retired Nurse with an online business. We have a daughter Siobhan and her husband David and our beautiful granddaughter Aoife may join us for part of our holiday hopefully. Harry our wonderful West Highland Terrier who adopted us 6 years ago wants to come too.
Currabinny is one the many peninsula's scattered around Cork Harbour.
Cork Harbour is one of the two most beautiful natural Harbors in the world, Sydney being the other.
Currabinny is a community of some 200 persons.
The Royal Cork Yaught Club which is the oldest Yaught Club in the world is situated across the bay in Crosshaven.
The terrace backs onto the woods in which there are many pleasant pathways to walk while overlooking the sea.
Carrigaline 5 miles away is our nearest shopping centre. Public transport to Carrigaline is 2 miles away and is infrequent. There is a Country Market every Friday in Carrigaline.
