Newly built comfortable Irish home

Our home is a beautiful modern house with a nod to the traditional vernacular. It is set in a large rambling garden with a small vegetable plot for fresh veg during the summer and flower beds to add a dash of colour to your day. We live in the heart of Connemara and within walking distance from Trá an Dóilín a famous coral beach known as the pearl of Connemara and many other small sandy beaches in the area, which can be accessed from our house off the mainroad along green roads known as "bohreens".

Our home is the ideal base for a family holiday in the west of Ireland. Catch the ferry to the world famous Aran Islands, 15 mins from the house, go on a quiet or adventurous excursion into the rolling hills of Connemara or stay locally and experience the thriving cultural community of Carraroe.

We have three young children with plenty of room and toys to share. You will be welcome to use our bikes and trikes to explore the local area, snorkeling gear will also be available as well as a one-person kayak.

Carraroe village with its shops, traditional pubs, cafes, etc is 2km from our house. Our home offers the best of both worlds with the quiet tranquil village life of Carraroe and the vibrant bustle of the medieval city of Galway located 50 mins away. Galway city is a must see in July as it hosts an international Arts festival and film festival at the beginning of the month and a horse racing festival at the end of the month.
