About our home

A substantial country family home standing on cashel bay Connemara, an area of outstanding beauty surrounded by an untamed wonderful landscape of mountain, moors, rivers, beaches, and lakes (Michel sardous song the lakes of Connemara )

A garden of one acre approximately surrounds the house with an abundance flowers, shrubs,and trees sweeping towards the sea
A short walk through the garden takes you to a Cosy country pub and restaurant.
Drive time from Dublin is 4 hours, Shannon airport is within two hrs 30mins ,clifden ,the Connemara capital and the fishing village of roundstone are 20 minutes away by car, Galway city is an hour away to the east.

  1. My wife Mona and I retired from the hospitality business ten years ago,our family of 2 boys and 2 girls range in age from thirty three to forty two years and there are 6 grand children whose ages are from six months to five years.

some of the countrys best game fishing,salmon and sea trout is to be found nearby,deep angling boats depart daily from clifden.the killary adventure centre offers daily and weely courses,whilst the clifden boat club offers sailing instruction. horse riding and pony trekking is available at the cleggan and errislannan centres.the connemara 18 hole championship links course at ballyconeely offer tuition and greenfees at reasonable prices.a visit to kylemore abbey and the connemara national park is a must
