“We had a wonderful stay at this lovely cottage. The proximity to Dublin and all the shopping and sightseeing made it an ideal place to base ourselves. However, while the cottage is only ten minutes from the largest shopping centre in the country, it is in a rural setting with green fields, open spaces and lots of wildlife around it. The cottage is very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Brian and Cathy are very easy to communicate with and are extremely helpful on all levels. We would be delighted to return here at some future date.”
Brian's reviewsAs a host (5)
“Ideal location to explore Dublin, Brian and Kathy very helpful hosts who met us and were kind and told us local restaurants, transport options and sights. Close drive to train into City and easy access to main roads. The view from the living room is spectacular, particularly at night. All is in place in the house and as a family of 5, 4 adults and an 8 year old we had no issues in every day living such as breakfast making, clothes washing etc. Thankyou for a great week, we love Dublin and surrounds!”
“The Cottage in Ticknock , Sandyford Dublin was a delight. We spent 12 nights in the three bedroom cottage and enjoyed the view of Dublin by night and the rural setting by day. We were met on arrival by Brian and his wife who provided us with all the necessary information. ”
“Brian's place is comfortable and homely. Located a short drive to the supermarket and tram station, it took us about 30 minutes into Dublin city and airport. The place had a lovely rural serenity with rabbits , horses and even a fox on the veranda . We had a lovely two week stay. Brian was very responsive before and during our stay. ”
“This house is ideal for a holiday in Dublin. Brian and his wife are very friendly and so are the nearest neighbours. There is easy access to everything from the location - and the view is stunning! You must love animals to stay here. The house is surrounded by dogs, horses, deer, foxes, rabbits etc. We did not know that, but to us it was only a pleasant surprise, since we are travelling with children. All in all a wonderful place to stay for a visit in Dublin.”
