We would love to share our holiday home with fellow travelers, and experience the hospitality of other homeswaps and be able to return the compliment.
This fully equipped house is the essence of luxury and comfort with wifi. A large kitchen with all mod cons and an Aga range for all you foodies! The house has oil fired central heating and the sitting room has a solid fuel stove fire with cosy comfortable furniture. You will also find a spacious utility room and downstairs toilet.
Upstairs there 3 bedrooms (1 King bedroom with ensuite and small balcony, for that morning Cuppa. 1 twin & 1 single) and a family bathroom. The garden comes equipped with a BBQ and furnished patio area for al fresco dining.
Clifden is the ideal gateway to the West, with easy access to the Aran Islands, Clare Island, Inish Bofin, Connemara National Park in Letterfrack, Kylemore Abbey & Victorian Walled Garden with Mayo and Galway City under an hours drive away. Recreation options include Walking and Mountain Treks, Fishing, Deep sea angling, Pony Trekking on infamous Connemara ponies, play golf in Connemara Championship Links Golf Course, Cycling and Watersports. Beautiful Beaches at Roundstone, Cleggan and Ballyconneely. The house is in the town and within walkings to all local amenities, Restaurants serving local Fresh Fish and Connemara Lamb, Pubs with Irish Music and Dance.

We are an active retired couple.We have 4 grown up Children and 6 Grand children. They live in Galway Dublin and NYC.
Eamonn is a retired Consultant Civil Engineer, I’m also retired, so we both are free to travel.
We wish to see more of the world. We like to walk and play golf and experience of the wonderful hospitality that Lovehome swap has to offer, and to be able to return the compliment.

Our house is on the edge of the picturesque town of Clifden. 2mins walk to the centre. Clifden has an array of excellent restaurants serving Locally caught fresh fish and succulent Connemara Lamb. And the local pubs with traditional Music Song and Dance. Clifden is a great base to explore the West of Ireland and The Wild Atlantic Way.
