About our home

Clare is on the West coast of Ireland. Our house is situated 5 minutes drive from the beautiful lakeside town of Killaloe, It is 40 minutes drive from Shannon airport. Limerick City is 20 mins drive. There is a regular train/bus service from Limerick to Dublin, Galway and Cork.

Our house is situated in a very small village called Bridgetown. It is a modern spacious and comfortable house built in 2001 with four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room with open-plan kitchen/ dining area. As well as central heating we have two fireplaces in which we regularly light fires. One bedroom belongs to our eight year old daughter, it has a single bed and it is full of toys and children's books. Our home is bright and cheerful with lots of character. We have a large garden with double doors leading out from the living space. We have good internet access but we don't have a television.

Bridgetown has a church, a primary school, a pub and a few houses. It is a quiet village with people commuting to Limerick City, Killaloe, Ennis and Nenagh for work but a strong farming community surrounding the small village.

We love living here as a family.
