More about us

  1. We are a married couple with 4 children (aged 9, 6 and 2 year old twins) Our children are well behaved and very respectful in their own home, so we would not expect any different from them in someone elses home. We are hoping to do a house swap in Europe or USA for next summer 2011. We did a house exchange in Ireland this year and had a wonderful exchange, so we are really looking forward to organising another (a bit further away from home) for next year. We are very much looking forward to hearing from you....

The nearby village of Clonbur offers excellent pub/restaurants, with Irish music and good Guinness!! With the advantage of two Lakes (Lough Corrib and Lough Mask) it is a perfect location for fishing, boating, swimming, walking and there are lots of mountains in the area for those more interested in an active holiday. (mountain climbing, hill walking) There are Golf Courses to be found locally in Ballinrobe. It is only 40minute drive to Galway City and a perfect base from which to explore the whole Connemara region.
