About our home
Our home is set in Rosmuc in beautiful Connemara, County Galway. Our home is comfortable, clean, and spacious. It has a open kitchen/Dining Living Room. The living room has a solid fuel stove and a big picture window overlooking the mountains. There are 3 bedrooms (2 doubles and one twin). We love spending time in Connemara and taking long walks in the beautiful countryside. There is plenty to see and do right from the doorstep of this Connemara cottage, if you can tear your eyes away from the beautiful view for long enough.
The cottage is newly renovated with an extension on the back with the living space and kitchen. The cottage is in a beautiful, quiet and scenic part of Galway. There is a local pub, shop and post office close by.
The area is renowned for walks and is great for a scenic drive.

We are a young family with a girl aged 6, a boy aged 4 and a little girl aged 1.5 We enjoy seeing new places, love the sea, and like active holidays. We are both active and love to swim, cycle and run. We love to travel the world and enjoy spending our holidays exploring new places with our little family.

Where is it?
Neighbourhood
Rosmuc is located in the rugged Galway countryside. This Connemara cottage boasts rural views from all aspects, so sitting outside to enjoy the views is a must, and if it's a sunny summer's day, balmy spring morning or blustery autumn afternoon, the beautiful landscape will have a visual treat in store for you.
There are several local mountains to climb as well as the Connemara National Park which has a visitors centre and several marked walks.
If you enjoy culture and good food, Galway City is a 40 minute drive away. This is an historic and cultural city with many restaurants, historic buildings and seaside fun. They have many arts and music festivals throughout the summer.
Clifton, Oughterard and Spiddal are all within a 30 min drive away and are fantastic Irish towns with much to offer.
From Rosmuc you can also head to Westport and the amazing mountains and scenery there.
There is so much to do and see in the area if you have the adventurous spirit!
