About our home
Our home is a modern family house built 6 years ago. it is a contemporary open-plan home consisting of 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, separate sitting-room, sunroom, open-plan kitchen/dining/living space. We are located in the countryside with beautiful views of the Galtee mountains. We are only a 5 minute drive to the picturesque town of Cahir.

We are a family of 6, that's three girls and a boy, Isabella is 12, Luke 10, Katherine 8 and Evie 1 year old.

Denis works as a Health and Safety in the Pharmaceutical sector and Maria is a computer technician in a college.

We love to travel and visit new places every year. We are relatively new to home swapping, we did one last year in Spain and really enjoyed it, so now we're hooked!

Our home is located just 5km from the town of Cahir which is an attractive and elegant town situated on the River Suir in County Tipperary. Developed around the magnificent 13th century Cahir Castle the town has many interesting sites including St Paul’s Church of Ireland and remains of an Augustinian Priory. Two kilometres from the town is the Swiss Cottage, a delightful 19th century cottage orne, designed by regency architect John Nash.
Our home is looking out on views of the Galtee mountains which are Ireland’s highest inland mountain range, with a variety of peaks including Galtymore at 3,018 feet (919m). The Galtees provide a challenge required for today’s serious hill-walker and mountain climbers.
We are just an hours drive to Cork, Kilkenny and Limerick cities.
