About our home

Our home was built in 2006 and is furnished to an extremely high standard. There are 3 double bedrooms, one ensuite, one bedroom with 3 single and 1 small bedroom with 1 single. It is located in one of the most beautiful parts of Ireland on the extreme southwest coast, there is an abundance of watersport activities available, surfing and sailing being the most attractive for the area. The scenery is breathtaking and dramatic and there is a lot of dedicated walks and trecks in the immediate area. Goleen village is a small traditional irish fishing village with local pubs and a famous seafood restaurant. The islands of Cape Clear and Sherkin are visable from the village and there is a local ferry to the islands on a daily basis from Schull, a 10 minute drive away.
