House with 2 bedrooms (one en-suite), two sitting room areas, a downstairs bathroom, a big kitchen, a conservatory and a garden. We are particularly interested in exchanges ideally between the months of December and March in Melbourne, Australia, where our daughter lives. Simultaneous or non-simultaneous exchanges would be welcome. We also have a small apartment in the south of France at a tourism residence in St. Aygulf. DESCRIPTION OF OUR NEIGHBOURHOOD AND SURROUNDING AREAIt's a very established neighbourhood with all the amenities one would require. While it's close to walking paths, sports grounds, a river, it is a quiet safe neighbourhood in a very attractive suburb of Cork. There are lots of outdoor concerts (summer) within walking distance of our home.
OUR INSIDER TIPS FOR PLACES TO GO AND THINGS TO DO WHILE STAYING IN OUR HOMEFrom our home it is a short walk to the 'village' where all of required amenities - shops, pubs, post office, bakery, pubs, restaurants, can be found. It's also a short walk to access a very attractive walking/biking path by the river to downtown. Cork is also a great base for travelling and sightseeing around Ireland, with many must-see tourist attractions accessible as a day trip. The culinary capital of Ireland, Kinsale, is a 30 minute drive from our house. Also the closest seaside resort of Crosshaven is again just a 30 minute drive from our home.
