About our home

Our home is a beautiful spacious newly built, well insulated, well equipped residence in a small coastal village. It enjoys views of the harbour, the distant islands and mountains. Here we have hung an interesting collection of contemporary Irish art and placed pieces of sculpture throughout the house. There is a sheltered terrace for outdoor dining. There is a spacious garden and yard with out-buildings.
This accommodation has been designed with view to creating a close link between inside and outside. The materials and design of the spaces have been carefully used to create cohesion between the outdoor landscape and the indoor rooms of the house.

From the front, magnificent views of Baltimore Harbour can be enjoyed. The bedrooms and bathrooms are very elegant and comfortable and their simplicity creates a calm and relaxing atmosphere. The interior has an urban and cosmopolitan ambiance. The collection of contemporary art confers a special importance, resulting in a high quality and original dwelling by the sea.

En-suite Jacuzzi with T.V. Very comfortable beds and high quality linen (450 thread) and towels. High quality crockery and glasses. Bang and Olufsen TV in bedroom. Bang and Olufsen stereo system in living room and kitchen.

Where is it?

Baltimore in West Cork sits near the very southern tip of Ireland on the beautiful southwest coast, approximately mid-way between the busy tourist destinations of Dingle and Kinsale. Slightly off the main tourist trail, Baltimore has retained a village atmosphere, even though it has plenty of top class places to eat and drink. Across a large natural harbour lie Carbery's Hundred Isles, which include the enchanting islands of Cape Clear, Sherkin and Heir, all reached by ferry from the pier.

The house is within walking distance of Baltimore's restaurants and pubs, which pride themselves in excellent food and hospitality. It is a great base for exploring the islands and West Cork in general.
