About our home

Our home is a busy family home (we have four small children ages six to 18 months) located close to Cork city centre. Cork is the second largest city in Ireland. The city is built on the River Lee which divides into two channels at the western end of the city. At the eastern end of the city centre they converge; and the Lee flows around Lough Mahon to Cork Harbour, one of the world's largest natural harbours. The city is a major Irish seaport; there are quays and docks along the banks of the Lee on the city's east side.
Cork city is a very accessible and easy to navigate city. It has many fine restaurants and bars. The English market was visited by Queen Elizabeth last year. There are many galleries and museums such as Crawford Gallery and the Glucksman located at University CollegeCork. Cork is within easy reach of the beautiful town of Kinsale reknown for its restaurants and sailing.
