Our studio is warm and comfortable in rural Wexford in the the sunny south east of Ireland. there are large windows in the living areas and so it captures all day sunshine making it a pleasant place to chill out. It is surrounded by a large well manicured enclosed garden. The studio has its own private patio area.

My husband Eric and i are retired and enjoy golf, bridge, cycling, painting,watercolours, amateur dramatics and our four grandchildren.
We love to travel and to visit new places away from the touristic areas. We are open to suggestions for destinations and like to get away in January and February for four weeks .
County Wexford is located in the very south east corner of Ireland. Its a county steeped in history, blessed with good weather, lots of attraction.The east coast has long stretches of sandy beaches and a south coast lined with pretty fishing villages Wexford town is 8 miles from our house with many shops, restaurants,and art galleries, The town is made up of narrow streets built by the vikings in 800 ad. The National Opera House plays host to one of Europe's most successful opera festivals the Wexford Opera Festival www.nationaloperahouse.ie/ .It is an unspoiled town with a pedestrianised main street with local shops and some high street outlets also. There are many festivals in the town throughout the year including an an plein aer art festival where many artist can be seen painting on the street the first week in August. Live music is available in many of the pubs at night and in the art center.
The nearest beach is a 10 minute drive from our house. The nearest shop is in the village of Ballycogley 2 minutes away
The picturesque fishing Village of Kilmore Quay is 15 mins drive. with a marina, a beach and the best fish and chips in Ireland or if you wish to cook your own you can buy fresh fish from the fish monger. You can also take a ferry from here to the Saltees Islands and see the wildlife there with the puffins and seals and much more.. One of the oldest operating lighthouses in the world can be found in Wexford Hook Head Lighthouse.
Wexford boasts over 200 km of coastline and is home to Rosslare Europort one of Ireland's major passenger ports. It also claims to have one of the longest continuous beaches in Ireland running along its east coast for 27 km!
Johnstown castle is a ten minute drive from our house with lakes and woodland walk,s an agricultural museum and the peacock tea rooms. If golfing is your passion then you will be spoiled for choice as there are numerous golf clubs near by. ( golf clubs available to borrow at our house )
