“We had spend a fantastics hollidays in the wonderful cottage of Grace and Sean. The house is so beautiful, so clean and so confortable. We love the Donegal, the landscapes are terrifics, grandioses....The parc of Glenveagh is near the cottage, with a lot of hikes, the sea is near too, with the Gweedore ... And the Slieve leagues are just at 1 hours drive ! Special thanks for the welcome of Greace and Sean, increadible, warmly and so friendly ! (and the scones are déliciouuuuusss) Really thanks for all and we hope to exchange again in the futur ! you are welcome in Courchevel ! :))”

As a host (1)More about us
-
We are a married couple in our fifties who love travelling and experiencing other countries and cultures. We have a grown up family who no longer travel with us as they like doing their own thing. We have had 8 exchanges before and enjoyed every one of them.
We would expect to arrange an exchange some way in advance in order to get to know our fellow exchangers via email first to see how best we can facilitate their stay in Donegal and in the cottage.

Visit Donegal "The Coolest Place on the Planet" according to National Geographic. The cottage is located on the 'Wild Atlantic Way' tourist route in the picturesque village of Crolly in the heart of the Donegal Gaeltacht(Irish speaking area)nestling between the mountains and the sea, it is ideally situated as a base for exploring the beautiful Northwest and Islands. Close to Carrickfin Blue Flag beach and miles of tranquil walking routes. The village shop, petrol station and Leo's famous pub and restaurant (home to famous singer Enya) are within a short walk of the cottage.Close to Glenveigh National Park and Dunlewey Lakeside centre. We are only a 10 minute drive from Donegal Airport which is served by Aer Lingus with regular flights from Dublin and Glasgow. 1 hour from Slieve League, Europe's highest sea-cliffs and 1.5 hours from Giants Causeway.
