About our home

The Lookout was built 7 years ago. It commands a 180 degree sea view aspect. It is 5 minutes walking distance from the attractive popular fishing village of Crookhaven in West Cork
However, Due to present Covid crisis and ongoing restrictions, our house is not available for the next 7/8 months. Hopefully when the world returns to a better and safer place, we will be happy to swap homes again.

More about us

  1. We are couple who now have free time on our hands and therefore want to make the most of it.

  2. We are looking to travel as much as we can for the next few years. We are looking for an equivalent style property where we can take our family to next summer (2021) in particularly we would like to travel to Stockholm, Greece, Croatia or Spain. We would like to do a direct swap.

  3. We love our house and have put a lot of effort into making into a warm and comfortable family home and we greatly look forward to sharing it with other members from Love Home Swap.

Located within walking distance of two nearby beaches. Five minutes stroll down to the picturesque village of Crookhaven.
Magnificent views out to the Fastnet Lighthouse.

Buzzy restaurants
One lovely restaurant called Nottages, great food and overlooking the harbour.
Cool bars
3 local bars, serving food throughout the day.
Retail therapy
none.... but that is the beauty of the place.
Walks in the park
plenty of hiking, beach walking etc
Spot of exercise
some fantastic scenic cycle routes.
Day tripping
plenty of areas to discover within a 40 minute radius.
