Neighbourhood

The village of Crosshaven is located near to the mouth of Cork Harbour one of the largest natural harbours in the world. 20 kilometres south from Cork City, it is home to the oldest Yacht Club in the World (www.rcyc.ie) and is a haven for many yachts, a fishing fleet and boats of all kinds. The village has coffee shops, a supermarket, many pubs good food (!) and nice walks near the water. The surrounding area is rural with farmland, woods and plenty of beaches. Carrigaline (8km away) has more shopping and facilities. Cork airport is only 18 km away.
A beautiful destination over looking cork natural harbour! A Good base for exploring the Wild Atlantic Way.
