About our home

Our cottage has been recently renovated. Built in the 1930's it stands on an acre. It is a beautiful part of County Waterford, close to the Greenway, a 80km cycle path from Waterford to Dungarvan. The cottage is 25 minutes from Waterford City and 20 minutes from Dungarvan seaside town. It is surrounded by mountains with lots of walking to be enjoyed. Also good location for surfing, cyling and chilling out generally.

This is a rural retreat, deep in the countryside, surrounded by farms and with a walk directly into the mountains directly from the front door.

The cottage is small but has everything that you need with all mod cons, sleeps four comfortably.

More about us

  1. We are a family of 5, two parents and three young adults. Whilst we haven't done a swap for a while, we did when the children were younger and enjoyed a total of 11 swaps:) We will take good care of your home and will treat it with respect.

    About us - Paul is an architect working in the health area and Clare is a Special Needs Assistant working in the local National School.

    We are a sporty family, who love the outdoors. Paul is a long distance runner and Clare loves yoga. The children enjoy football, rugby and trampolining. As a family we love food and cooking and the adults enjoy art and architecture.

    We have two dogs and a cat, who go on their holidays when we do, but just in case of allergies .....

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Nature is the neighbourhood here! And some mountain sheep and cattle. We are deep in the countryside so you will hear the birds and the farmers cows being walked to the milking parlour.

But, in 25 minutes you can be in Waterford City, 15 minutes to Dungarvan. A bustling seaside town. Lots of nice places to eat and drink in Dungarvan, Kilmacthomas and Waterford.
