About our home

Our house was lovingly renovated in the last five years and our garden designed in the last year. We are a family of 5, ourselves, two teenagers and a toddler so creating space for everyone was important to us when renovating our home. It a very comfortable and warm house with an eclectic mix of furnishings and art. My husband is 6ft 7(2mt 2) and had our bed purpose-built. We love to cook and entertain so our kitchen is ideal for others who enjoy cooking too -it is well equipped and there are plenty of cookbooks! Our home would be ideal for a family, we have a cot/toddler bed for younger children and plenty of toys, board games, jigsaws and books for all ages. We own a saltwater aquarium with stunning fish and would ask that our visitors would agree to feed the fish while they stay here.

More about us

  1. We are a family of five, I run my own international business in the eventing space, my husband is a VP at an international tech company, two teenages 16yrs and 13yrs and go to school locally. We have a three-year-old daughter who keeps us entertained and on our toes! We work hard and love to take holidays where we can enjoy new places, sunshine, local food and wines, swimming and biking and doing very little else!. We love nature so a house with good views or close to nature are attractive to us.. We like being close to local shops/markets and restaurants but nothing too hectic.

We have never house swapped before and are excited about the possibilities for us and our visitors. I would be happy to provide any details or make any recommendations to help our swap guests.
