“We were welcomed warmly in a very nice and bright house, filled with paintings and pieces made by Mary. The house is ideally located 30 minutes from Dublin, with many monuments and places to visit all around, and close to everything we needed. The whole family has been very careful in our house, and we keep a very good memory. We highly recommend this address. Thank you for all!”
Mary's reviewsAs a host (3)
“We loved our week in Mary's house, which was light, spacious and comfortable. It was a real pleasure to meet the family before we set off for Ireland; they are lovely, warm and engaging people. The area is rich in history and we very much enjoyed exploring the Battle of the Boyne sites, the castles and the prehistoric settlements that rival our Stonehenge. A highlight has to be Boyles of Slane, a local pub which lived up to its reputation for great lilve music and a great welcome. It was everything you want Ireland to be.”
“We've just returned from a fortnight in Mary's house in Tullyallen, near Drogheda. A lovely, spacious house with a gorgeous garden. My daughter loved playing with the toys left out for her and roaming the garden with its trampoline and swing. There's loads to do near and around Drogheda and we enjoyed exploring castles, battlefields and chambered tombs. Our house was spotless when we returned and our cats clearly cared for. I would definitely recommend this family to anyone wishing to visit this part of Ireland!”
