We are interested in a non simitaneous exchange for week of 17th of March (we will be away skiing). Also interested in planning summer 2007, weekends or school holidays in europe - particularly France. There is lots to do here around St Patricks day - fireworks, parade etc !
We have a lovely family home in the suburbs of Dublin. Clean and comfortable with wooden floors through out. We moved in 7 years ago and totally renovated. The house has 2 double bed rooms, a twin and a single. We can provide a baby crib and all the associated equipment.
The master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom, there is a seperate family bathroom and downstairs a toilet and basin. The sitting room is large and comfortable with leather sofas, working open fireplace, TV, DVD, stero etc. The kitchen has all modern appliances. It has both a dining table (can sit 10) and breakfast bar. There are double doors opening on to the timber deck which has table and chairs for outdoor dining or relaxing with a drink while the kids play. Back garden is 100 feet with a large childrens play set, lots of trees and shrubs. It is totally enclosed and safe. We are not overlooked.
The house has central heating in case the Irish weather gets a little too cold for you.
I am Michelle, my husband is Denis and we both work in IT. We have twin boys age 5.
We are only 25 mins by bus from the Dublin city centre and only 5 mins to the costal towns of Dun Laoghaire and Blackrock. Dublin has something to offer every one from cultural to night life. We are within a few minutes stroll of shops, pubs, restaurants, bus stops, anything you could need -yet tucked away in a quiet cul de sac.
Its the perfect spot for exploring Dublin or going further we only 1/2 an hours drive from Wicklow and its historic and natural sites, Powerscourt house and gardens, Glendalough, excellent hill walking. Belfast is 2.5hrs drive and Cork and Galway only 3hrs.
The 2nd house is 5 mins stroll from the centre of Avoca on a lane containg only 6 houses. Ours is the last. Next to it is a large wooded country estate with country house and lots of long walks.
