About our home

Our Irish holiday home is an amazing property dating back to 1913. It has every commodity for a family as it is set up for our use and not just rental. It was purchased nearly three years ago. It is in the lovely suburb of Clontarf and is situated 150m from the seafront and only 5km from the centre of Dublin. The bus to the city centre leaves from the seafront at the end of the street. (Vernon Avenue) The street has a lot of restaurants, shops, pubs, a hairdresser, excellent bakers, pharmacy, and of course a local pub. Dollymount beach is nearby, at 1.5km. Clontarf is on the Northside of Dublin and within easy access of the south side (thanks to the Toll Bridge). It is near another lovely fishing village, Howth where you can buy fresh fish every day.
