“We would highly recommend this swap for anyone interested in travelling to the Dublin area. The house was very nicely appointed, very large, and comfortable. We weren't sure that the location was going to be ideal, but in retrospect, it certainly was. The Dart train system into Dublin was very close, and it was very easy to use. The town of Monkstown has some of the best restaurants in Ireland. All of our meals were fantastic. Ireland is a beautiful country and its people are very welcoming and hospitable. The people we swapped with were very accommodating and gave us wonderful information about the area. Also, they took great care of our place. This was a great swap experience, and our friends loved it as well. ”
Cathy's reviewsAs a host (3)
“This is a magnificent property, elegant and comfortable, it really is superb. Without doubt it is the finest home we have swapped with and Sam & Cathy were wonderful hosts. In our view Monkstown is the perfect place to stay for a longer visit to Dublin and Belgrave Square has some of the finest properties in the area. It is a short walk to the DART which can get you into the centre of Dublin in no time, while giving you a great view of the beautiful Dublin bay. Equally the train can take you the other way to the celebrated town of Dalkey from which you can enjoy a lovely walk to Killiney beach. Alternatively it's also a short drive up into the Wicklow Mountains. However at the end of each day it's always refreshing to return 'home' to this house and Monkstown has several popular restaurants (Seapoint being our favourite). We have no hesitation in recommending Sam & Cathy's home, you will love it.”
“First experience at swapping and learned a great deal.”

- We prefer residences as accommodations rather than hotels and the home afforded the space we desire.
- We agreed to swap vehicles in addition to residences and this worked out very well.
- The location of the residence was very good.
“Took the opportunity to explore and travel within the country and this home served as a very good base from which to do so.”
