About our home

Nestling on the eastern slopes of Killiney Hill and enjoying beautiful sea views across Killiney Bay, our home is an enchanting Edwardian Residence of enormous character and charm and comes with all the modern comforts that one would expect from a house of this calibre.. In keeping with the era in which it was built there are many striking features such as high cornice ceilings, bay windows and marble fireplaces. Killiney is among one of Dublins most exclusive residential areas and it's unspoilt beauty, fantastic local restaurants, and pubs, and proximity to Dublin City have made is the home of choice for many well known artists, writers and musicians.
It has featured in the works of many well known writers such as James Joyce, Hugh Leonard, Flann O'Brien and Maeve Binchy. The house is literally a one minute walk away from Killiney Beach, five minute walk to Killiney Hill Park and a two minute walk to the local train station bringing you to Dublin City Centre in 24 minutes. For those wishing to use it as a base to explore the many different parts of Ireland, it would also work very well.

Spread over three floors, the bright outer entrance hall opens in a large inner entrance hall with original parquet flooring. At this level there is large dining room with an original fireplace, adjacent to the kitchen/family room. The kitchen has an excellent range of modern equipment, an atrium style roof , recessed spot lighting and wired for sound Bang & Olfsen. On the first floor there are three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a hot press area. The main bedroom has delightful views across the garden to Killiney Bay and is wired for sound. The luxurious en suite bathroom leads out onto the balcony where you can enjoy a cup of coffee, read the newspaper or simply take in the fresh Irish breeze.
The second floor has an additional bedrooms, balcony, an office, shower room and wc, and a large recreational room with flat screen tv, large budda beanbags and magnificent views across the bay.
Outside there is a large south facing garden, outhouses with table tennis, and basketball nets. The gardens afford complete privacy. Granite steps up to a raised lawn with flower bed border, Wendy House and swings. The front garden, which is totally private has a lawn, mature hedgerows and extensive Indian sandstone circular sun patio area ideal for summer barbecues and al fresco dining.
