About our home

Our home is charming, comfortable and snug. As a couple it fits our needs perfectly, with a galley kitchen, dining/sitting room complete with stove, a reading/TV room with a front and back garden. The mature, leafy back garden with decking is private and backs onto the grounds of a 3rd level college. Its songbird life is very appealing.

We are a professional couple working in art and education who enjoy travel in Europe. Our adventures in home exchange since joining have been very positive, rewarding and fun!

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

There are many local attractions/amenities. There is the park at the end of the road,the national Botanic Gardens, the Glasnevin Historic Cemetery, restaurants, cafes & pubs, quick access by car/bike to the coast allowing one to visit the lively coastal villages of Howth & Malahide (including Malahide Castle & Newbridge House).

Access to the city centre with all its attractions and amenities is quick and easy using the local buses or on foot (20-30mins). The airport is only a 15 min drive by car and there is also quick access to the motorway (M50) allowing one to visit the beautiful countryside (Wicklow Mtns including Glendalough etc) to the north and south of the city.
