“We had a good time in this home. Near to the beach and the railway station to get to Dublin city. Nice owners who left our home perfectly clean! We recommend this house to explore Ireland!”

Neighbourhood
The neighbourhood is quiet and leafy, very safe and friendly. Killiney is one of Dublin's most prestigious addresses. Killiney beach is a long stretch of beautiful beach nestled into stunning Killiney bay, which is often compared to the bay of Naples. Locally there are numerous stunning walks and little coves to discover. Historic Dalkey is only minutes away and boasts many fine restaurants and places to socialise, Dalkey Island is a great place to take a picnic and watch the seals play. Along the coast the port town of Dunlaoghaire. Together with the splendid harbour and surrounding rolling hills, Dún Laoghaire is the great place to spend a lazy day, with a blend of shopping, warching the bustling life in the marina . Dún Laoghaire gets it's name from the Irish Translation, Fort (Dún) of Laoghaire. King Laoghaire was the ancient High King of Ireland before the Vikings arrived. Dublin city is a 20 minute rail journey along the coast. Killiney is perfectly positioned for daytrips with the Wicklow hills only minutes away by car. Enniskerry town lies nestled into Wicklow hills and is a lovely place to to stop off for coffee (try Popppys our favorite) for lunch
