We offer a mature detached family home in the beautiful surrounds of Dalkey village, South Dublin.
As you come into the brightly lit hall, there is a sitting room to your left and a second den where the kids can hang out!
As you walk through the book-lined corridor, it opens into a large open-plan kitchen, with a dining room which sits 8 comfortably, a kitchen with an island which can seat 4 and another seating area looking out onto our beautiful garden. Two large doors open out onto a large deck complete with tables and chairs and barbecue.
Upstairs there are 5 bedrooms, two bathrooms (both with power showers) and a study. There are three kid bedrooms - one with bunk beds. All have lots of room!
We are very proud of our warm and welcoming house in this charming Dublin village and we hope you like it too!
We are Ann & Jack - a married couple in our forties. We have three children - two girls and a boy in the middle! They are 12, 10 and 8. We are both professionals (Dentist and IT consultant). We love the outdoor live and love walking, running and swimming in the sea - all which we can do from our house!
This is our first time doing home exchange and are excited to see what it brings!
We live 10 minutes from Sandycove beach and the world-famous 40ft bathing area. James Joyce Tower is also within walking distance.
In the other direction, Dalkey Village is a 15 minutes walk with beautiful restaurants and bars to sample!
Dublin city is a 25 minute train-ride away. There you can find Molly Malone walking the streets of Dublin, visit Trinity College and see the beautiful Book of Kells and of course, visit the Guinness Hop Store!
