The house is a fully upgraded end of terrace Edwardian house. It comprises 3 double bedrooms (one converted attic), a study (with wireless internet), 1 bathroom, 2 toilets, a kitchen, a dining room a double living room, and a patio. Alarmed and with double glazing, this relaxed, comfortable home is full of books, CDs and antic furniture. The cat, Tequila, stays in one room downstairs at night and uses his catflap into the patio. The house is 150 square meters. I have already exchanged many times with different people of all kinds, from all over teh world, and they always enjoyed their stay. Some have kept in contact. With proper insurance, I can organise a Citroen C3.
Hello! I am French, born in 1965, a lecturer (Comparative Literature). My two daughters (10 and 14) also live with me part-time. We travel together, or me single, it all depends. I enjoy travelling, eating out, reading, relaxing with friends, as well as cutural life and the outdoors. Even though I need to go to the BN in Paris, which is the reason I am first looking to go there (Ile St Louis, Marais, Bastille, Montmartre or Rive Gauche only) this coming Summer for 2 or 3 weeks, I am still open to any other destinations, in Europe or outside. E-mailing prior to any exchange is paramount, obviously, so that we get to know each other, and ease your mutual stays in any way possible. Looking forward to hearing from you (In French, English, Spanish, Russian). For France, I am only looking at Paris as I have a house in Auvergne and a place on the Riviera.
I live in Crumlin, which is one of the oldest districts of Dublin, currently undergoing development, and within walking distance of Saint Stephen's Green, which is the city centre (roughly 15mn walk). Shopping centers and shops are within walking distance. On a well serviced bus route (unusual for Dublin!), close to hospitals, all aminities, taxis and services. The house is child friendly. For nature lovers, the Phoenix Park and seaside are easily accessible and County Wicklow is 20 mn drive away. For those who prefer a more urban and active life style, it is all in the close-by city centre.
