About our home

Our home is bright and comfortable. There is a large living room, kitchen/diner and 4 bedrooms (2 bedrooms and bathroom on the ground floor and 2 smaller bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs.) There is a garden to the front of the house and a large patio area overlooking a garden containing a trampoline, slide and swing at the rear of the house.

More about us

We are Marian and Mick Mc Donald and we have a thirteen year old daughter called Shona. We also have a gorgeous 7 year old cavalier King Charles doggie called Oscar who is looked after by friends when we are away. We had our first exchange to Greece and a second to France last year and they were wonderful experiences. We are keen to exchange again this summer as it is a wonderful way to see another country and allow others to experience ours.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Our neighbourhood is safe with mature trees and it's own private green. Lots of colourful flowerpots can be seen around the green during the summer months. We are within walking distance to historic Ennis town centre with it's quaint narrow streets (some cobbled)and great Irish music pubs.
Ideally located as a touring base, we are 15mins from Shannon airport and 30mins to our beautiful coastline with Lahinch beach and it's surf schools and the famous breathtaking cliffs of moher.
Limerick city is just 30mins drive and Galway city is 45 minutes away. Step back in time and visit the Arann islands. Google arann islands and click on images to view some amazing photographs of these famous islands and the beautiful coast of Co.Clare.
